Andrew Lincoln is a British actor. He was born on 14 September 1973 in London, England.

He made his television debut as Terry in an episode of the sitcom, Drop the Dead Donkey (1994) and would have his first major role as Edgar Cook in the television drama series, This Life (1996-97). His most prominent roles during his career have been as Simon Casey in Teachers (2001-03), Mark in the film, Love Actually (2003) and, his best known role, as Rick Grimes in the popular zombie horror television series, The Walking Dead (2010-).
