Walsall Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Walsall, England. Formed in 1888, initially as Walsall Town Swifts, they have been competing in the League Two division, as well as a fairly long stint in League One. They are currently managed by Darrell Clarke and their home ground is at Bescot Stadium.

They are affectionately known as 'The Saddlers' amongst their fans. They pulled an upset win over Arsenal in 1933, had victories over Manchester United and Newcastle United in 1975 and after many ups and downs throughout their history, won the League Two title in 2007, which gave them a promotion to League One, but sadly got relegated back to League Two in 2019.
