Vanessa Hudgens is an American actress and singer. She was born on 14 December 1988 in Salinas, California, USA.

She has appeared in many films and television shows for the Disney Channel, but her role as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film trilogy is her breakout performance to date. Through the films, they would release music from the trilogy, with Breaking Free entering the Top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100. She would then release two albums, V and Identified, in 2006 and 2008 respectively. But after the end of the franchise, she would focus on acting work, which has included:-

• Spring Breakers (2012)
