The Flash is an American television series that is based on characters from the DC comics. It aired on 7 October 2014 and is still going strong with a fifth series due in October 2018, and Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns are the series' developers. It stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, a crime scene investigator who gets powers of lightning-fast speed and uses his new identity to fight crime. The Flash is a spin-off from the television series, Arrow.
