The Crow is an American supernatural film, released on 13 May 1994 (USA), directed by Alex Proyas and is based on the comic, of the same name, created by James O'Barr.

Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) is violently killed by a group of thugs, and subsequently his fianceé, Shelly Webster (Sofia Shinas) was also caught in the events of the night, and eventually died from her injuries. A year passes, a crow lands on Eric's grave and he comes back to life. Determined to make the criminals pay for what happened to him and his fianceé, he tracks the men involved, one by one, with the help of the crow.

Some other characters in the film include; Sergeant Albrecht (Ernie Hudson), Sarah (Rochelle Davis), Top Dollar (Michael Wincott), T-Bird (David Patrick Kelly) and Myca (Bai Ling).

The film picked up 3 awards; MTV Movie Award for Best Movie Song, a Chainsaw Award for Best Actor (Brandon Lee) and a BMI Film Music Award.
