Tessa Peake-Jones is a British actress. She was born on 9 May 1957 in Hammersmith, London, England.

She made her television debut as Sonia Jackson in an episode of Fallen Hero (1978) and has appeared in many television programs throughout her career. She is best known for her role as Raquel Turner in Only Fools and Horses (1988-2003) and has made notable appearances in prominent television shows, as Miss Mary Bennet in Pride and Prejudice (1980), Sue Bond in Doctors (2009-11) and Marta in an episode of Doctor Who (2009-11).
