Teri Lynn Hatcher (born december 8, 1964) is an american actress who is best known for her roles as susan mayer on the tv show desperate housewives, lois lane on the show lois & clark: the new adventures of superman, and paris carver in the james bond film tomorrow never dies. In 2005 her desperate housewives work won her the golden globe award for best actress and the screen actor's guild award for outstanding performance by a female actress in a comedy series, as well as a nomination for the emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series, which she lost to fellow cast member and close friend, felicity huffman.
