Suggs is a British singer, songwriter and musician. He was born, Graham McPherson, on 13 January 1961 in Hastings, Sussex, England.

He made a breakthrough in his music career from the late 70s, as the frontman in the band, Madness and had hits such as, Baggy Trousers (1980), It Must Be Love (1981), House of Fun (1982) and Our House (1982). He later began a solo career with his first single, I'm Only Sleeping (1995), which hit the UK charts at number 7. Other than working in music, he has performed in theatre and appeared in film and television. He also had a career on radio as a DJ, firstly for BBC Radio 6 and later on for Virgin Radio and Absolute Radio.
