Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith is an American sci-fi fantasy film, directed by George Lucas and released on 19 May 2005.

The film is the third installment of the prequel trilogy, and is the culmination of Anakin Skywalkers' (Hayden Christensen) turn to the dark side and his journey from Jedi Knight to Sith Lord (Darth Vader). Other main characters throughout the film include; Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman), Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious (Ian McDiarmid), Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson), Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus (Christopher Lee), Yoda (voiced by Frank Oz), C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) and R2-D2 (Kenny Baker).
