Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York is a British writer, public speaker, film producer, charity patron and television personality. She was born on 15 October 1959 in London, England.

She was married to Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and they have two daughters together during their marriage (1986-96), Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Since her divorce, she has seen a lot of criticism for her behaviour in the tabloids and various media outlets and has been in the middle of plenty of controversies. Nonetheless, she has been involved with many different charities, such as, Teenage Cancer Trust, Children in Crisis, American Cancer Society, Mental Disability Rights International, Motor Neurone Disease Association and many more. She has also written many books, mainly children's stories, lifestyle and autobiographies.
