Roger Moore was a British actor. He was born on 14 October 1927 in London, England and passed away on 23 May 2017 in Switzerland, aged 89.

He made his film debut in a minor role on Vacation from Marriage (1945) and has appeared and starred in many television and film roles throughout his career. He is best known for his roles as Simon Templar in The Saint (1962-69) and James Bond in the following films; Live and Let Die (1973), The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983) and A View to a Kill (1985).
