Orlando Bloom is a British actor. He was born on 13 January 1977 in Canterbury, Kent, England.

He made his television debut as Noel Harrison in Casualty (1994 / 1996) and went on to appear and star in many television and film projects throughout his career. He is best known for his roles as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-03) and The Hobbit films (2013 / 2014), and Will Turner in four of the Pirates of the Caribbean films (2003-17).
