Norman Reedus is an American actor and model. He was born on 6 January 1969 in Hollywood, Florida, USA.

He made his film debut as Jeremy in the horror/thriller, Mimic (1997) and has appeared and starred in many film and television series throughout his career. He has also had roles as Warren Anderson in 8MM (1999), Murphy MacManus in The Boondock Saints (1999) and its follow-up The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) and as Scud in Blade II (2002). He is best known for his role as Daryl Dixon in the zombie/horror television series, The Walking Dead (2010-). He has also done modelling for the likes of Prada and Levi’s, appeared in music videos, including Lady Gaga, Bjork and R.E.M., and has provided his voice in an episode of animated comedy, American Dad (2016) and for The Walking Dead video games, and is set to provide his likeness and voice to the upcoming video game, Death Stranding, working with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro.
