Nigel Mansell is a British former Formula One racing driver. He was born on 8 August 1953 in Upton-upon-Severn, Worcestershire, England.

He began racing professionally during the 1980s and is regarded as one of the most successful Formula One drivers of all time. He has competed in various races throughout his career, both in Formula One and the CART IndyCar World Series. He has 31 wins in during his Formula One career, and won the championship in 1992, he then followed that up with 5 wins during his CART IndyCar career and won the championship in 1993, making him the first person in his field to crossover and win the big one.

• Inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame (2005)
• Inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (2006)
• Received a CBE (2012)
