Michael Crawford is a British actor, comedian and singer. He was born on 19 January 1942 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.
Known for being the 'jack of all trades' in the entertainment industry, he has worked in television, film, theatre productions (including the West End and Broadway) and radio, but best known for his roles as Frank Spencer in the 70s British sitcom, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em (1973-78) and as the title role in the 1986 musical, The Phantom of the Opera.
