Meat Loaf is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born Marvin Lee Aday on 27 September 1947 in Dallas, Texas, USA.

Under the stage name of Meat Loaf, he started his career in a band called Meat Loaf Soul, their first gig was opening for Van Morrison's band, Them. But he became an international success with the Bat Out of Hell trilogy of albums, his first album in the series sold over 43 million copies across the globe. Some of his biggest hits in the UK include:-
