Little Mix are a British pop girl-group, consisting of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, and formed in London, England in 2011.

They made their first appearance on the eighth season of The X Factor (2011), initially auditioning as solo acts, but were joined together by the judges later in the program. They would go on to win the competition, making them the first group to win the contest up to that point. They released their first cover song, Cannonball (2011) which reached number 1 in the UK and Ireland, then susbsequently their debut album, DNA (2012), which hit the number 3 spot in the UK and Ireland. They went on to release a further 4 albums, including Glory Days (2016) which was their first album the reach number 1 in the UK. They have become one of the best-selling girl groups from the UK over the years they have been together and have provided many hit songs, including; Wings (2012), Black Magic (2015) and Shout Out To My Ex (2016).
