Lightning Bear is a Native American stuntman, stunt co-ordinator and director. He was born on 7 October 1947 in Houston, Texas, USA and passed away 11 June 2011 in Hanau, Hesse, Germany.

He was best known for his stunt work, which included three of the Star Trek films and he appeared in all three of the original Star Wars trilogy as a Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper and general stuntman. His other stunt work includes:-

• Planet of the Apes (1968)

• Diamonds Are Forever (1971)

• The Poseidon Adventure (1972)

• The Towering Inferno (1974)

• King Kong (1976)
