Lee David Bowyer (born 3 january 1977) is an english professional footballer born in canning town, london, who is currently a free agent.

He has previously played for several clubs in england including Leeds united, charlton athletic, west ham united, newcastle united and birmingham city. Bowyer has been capped once by england. Since 2010, has held the record for most yellow cards received in the premier league.
