The Kray Twins, Ronnie and Reggie were British gangsters. They were both born on 24 October 1933 in Hoxton, London, England. Ronnie passed away on 17 March 1995 in Crowthorne, Broadmoor, Berkshire, England, aged 61, and Reggie passed away on 1 October 2000 in Norwich, Norfolk, England, aged 66.

They were notorious criminals during the 50s and 60s and had a hand in many high profile crimes of their time, including armed robbery, arson and murder. They tried to break the boxing scene in their early years, but after their reputation as thugs during their time in the army and subsequent jail time put an end to that. They owned their own night club, became prominent in the public eye and saw themselves as untouchable. In May 1968 they were arrested, along with other members of their gang, The Firm.
