Kevin Ratcliffe is a retired Welsh professional football player. He was born on 12 November 1960 in Mancot, Wales.

The majority of his career was spent with Everton, making 348 appearances, scoring 2 goals and becoming captain for the team in 1983 at age 23. He was also part of the 1984 FA Cup Final, the 1984-85 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the 1984-85 and 1986-87 Football League Championship. He has played for Cardiff City, Derby County and Chester City. In 1995, he would move on to managing a couple football teams, the first being Chester City (1995-99) and then Shrewsbury Town (1999-2003).
