Keira Knightley is a British actress. She was born on 26 March 1985 in Teddington, London, England.

She has featured in a variety of major films, her first significant one being The Hole (2001), then became widely recognised in Bend It Like Beckham (2002) and of course, became a huge success when she took on the role of Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series.
