José Antonio Reyes is a Spanish professional football player. He was born on 1 September 1983 in Utrera, Spain.

He began his career in football with the Sevilla youth club (1994-99) and had continued success in the senior ranks at both Sevilla B, the reserve team (1999-2001) and Sevilla (2000-04), making a total of 118 appearances and scoring 22 goals during his time there. He made a brief stint in the British team, Arsenal (2004-07), making 69 appearances and scored 16 goals, before heading back to Spain to play for Atlético Madrid (2007-11), making 103 appearances and scored 8 goals. He returned to where it all began and played for Sevilla (2012-16) one last time, making 109 appearances and scored 9 goals. He has also played for the Spanish national team (2003-06).
