Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is a Dutch former professional footballer and current manager of Queens Park Rangers. He was born on 27 March 1972 in Paramaribo, Suriname, Netherlands.

He began his professional football career in the Netherlands with teams Telstar and AZ, before going onto some Portuguese clubs. He then came to Leeds United in 1997, making 69 appearances with the club, scoring 34 goals and won the Premier League Golden Boot award in 1998. After spending some time in Spain with Atlético Madrid he came back to the UK to spend the majority of his career with Chelsea, making 136 appearances, scoring 70 goals and earning himself another Golden Boot award. He also played for Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic, Cardiff City and for the Netherlands national team.
