Jason Statham is a British actor. He was born on 26 July 1967 in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, England.

He made his film debut as Bacon in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and has gone on to appear and star in many film projects throughout his career. He is best known for his roles as Turkish in Snatch (2000), Frank Martin in The Transporter trilogy (2002 / 2005 / 2008), Lee Christmas in The Expendables trilogy (2010 / 2012 / 2014) and as Deckard Shaw in Fast and Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015) and The Fate of the Furious (2017). He has also appeared in music videos; The Shamen 'Comin' On' (1993), Erasure 'Run to the Sun' (1994) and Calvin Harris 'Summer' (2014) and provided his voice in video games, Red Faction II as Shrike (2002) and Call of Duty as Sergeant Waters (2003).
