Jason Manford is a British stand-up comedian, television presenter and actor. He was born on 26 May 1981 in Salford, Greater Manchester, England.

Starting out his career in the stand-up comedy world, Manford would follow many of his peers by trying his hand at acting and presenting on television. He had a minor role in the comedy drama series Ideal (2005) and from there went on to become team captain on 8 out of 10 Cats. His other television work include:-

• Live at the Apollo (2007-14)

• The One Show (2010)

• Odd One In (2010-11)

• Ordinary Lies (2015)

Awards and Achievements:

• North West City Life Comedian of the Year (1999)

• Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (2000)
