Jamie Vardy is a British football player who currently plays for Leicester City and the England national team. He was born on 11 January 1987 in Sheffield, England.

He started his career in 2002 with Sheffield Wednesday and then a year later, would move on to Stocksbridge Park Steels, with whom he would stay for the remainder of his youth career and into his senior career up to 2010. He also played for FC Halifax Town (2010-11) and Fleetwood Town (2011-12).
