Ian Botham is a former England cricket player and team captain, currently working on television as a sports commentator. He was born on 24 November 1955 in Heswall, Cheshire, England.
Regarded as one of the best all-rounder's in Test cricket, he had held the record for the highest number of wickets taken by an England bowler until 17 April 2015.
