Henry Cavill is a British actor. He was born on 5 May 1983 in Jersey, Channel Islands, England.

His first minor film role was as Albert Mondego in The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) and would then venture into television programmes with various supporting roles. He then joined the cast of The Tudors, a television series set in 16th century England, (2007-10) as Charles Brandon and gained popularity and widespread fame with his role as Superman in the film Man of Steel (2013), a role he reprised in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) alongside Ben Affleck. Some of his other acting work includes:-

• The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
