Guy Martin is a British motorcycle racer and in recent years, has turned to television, making many educational and documentary-style programmes. He was born on 4 November 1981 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.

He began his career in 1998 and made his debut in the annual Isle of Man TT IN 2004 and since that time, he has made 15 podium finishes. Not only has he competed in motorcycle events during his career, but he has also competed in mountain bike cycle races too. In 2011, his behind the scenes documentary, Closer to the Edge, made its television appearance and would go on to make more along the way, including the Channel 4 series, Speed with Guy Martin.
