Elvis Presley was an American singer and actor. He was born on 8 January 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, USA and passed away on 16 August 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, aged 42.

He has released 24 studio albums, with his self-titled debut album (1956), Elvis Is Back! (1960), Pot Luck (1962) and From Elvis in Memphis (1969) all reaching number 1 in the UK charts. He has also released 111 singles throughout his career, including popular tracks; Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog, Love Me Tender (all 1956), Jailhouse Rock (1957), Are You Lonesome Tonight? (1960), Surrender (1961) and Suspicious Minds (1969).
