Donald Sutherland is a Canadian actor. He was born on 17 July 1935 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

He made his acting debut as an extra in the television series, Studio 4 (1962) and since then has appeared and starred in many television and film projects for over five decades. He has took on many roles in film, such as, Hawkeye Pierce, in the American comedy war film, M*A*S*H (1970) as Matthew Bennell in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), as John Bridger in The Italian Job (2003) and as President Snow in The Hunger Games series of films (2012-15). Some of his other acting work includes:-
