Diogo José Teixeira da Silva, known as Jota, is a Portuguese footballer. He was born on 4 December 1996 in Porto, Portugal.

He began his career for Portuguese club, Gondomar S.C. (2005-13) and has gone on to play for a small number of clubs throughout his career. He moved onto F.C. Pacos de Ferreira (2014-16) where he made 41 appearances and scored 14 goals and Atlético Madrid (2016-18). He currently plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers (2018-), making 39 appearances, scoring 10 goals and contributed to the EFL Championship win (2017-18).
