Dina Asher-Smith is a British professional sprinter. She was born on 4 December 1995 in Orpington, Greater London, England.

She began her professional career in 2013 and was trained by John Blackie. She has won the Olympic bronze medal (2016), gold medals at the Commonwealth Games, European Championships (2018), all when competing in the 4 x 100 metres relay, and the World Championships (2019) in the 200 metres contest. She holds the record for the fastest British woman, with an impressive 21.88 seconds in the 200 metres.
