David Attenborough is a British television presenter and naturalist. He was born on 8 May 1926 in Isleworth, Middlesex, London, England.

He is best known for working with the BBC, creating many documentaries which include looking into animal and plant life across the globe. This includes The Life Collection, a nine-part series, which started with Life on Earth (1979) and ended with Life in Cold Blood (2008). He is one of the most loved presenters in the UK and has been voted number 63 in the 100 Greatest Britons (2002).
