Cliff Morgan was a Welsh rugby player. He was born on 7 April 1930 in Trebanog, Rhondda, Wales and passed away on 29 August 2013, aged 83.
He started playing professionally for Cardiff RFC (1949-58), Bective Rangers (1955-56) and Barbarians F.C. (1950-58). He also played for the Wales national rugby team (1951-58), earning 29 caps and was part of the 1952 team that got a Grand Slam victory. Once he retired from active play, he went into broadcasting and television, providing commentary for rugby games, producing and editing for Grandstand and Sportsnight With Coleman, plus he was one of the original captains for the TV quiz show, A Question of Sport.
