Buster Merryfield was a British actor. He was born on 27 November 1920 in Battersea, London, England and passed away on 23 June 1999 in Poole, Dorset, England, aged 78.

He started off as an amateur actor and director in his early days, and only became a full-time professional actor at 57, taking on roles in the theatre and minor parts in television. He was best known for his role as Uncle Albert in the successful British television series, Only Fools and Horses (1985-96).
