Brian Cox is a British physicist and television presenter. He was born on 3 March 1968 in Oldham, Lancashire, England.

He is best known for presenting science-based television programmes, including Horizon (2005-09), Wonders of the Solar System (2010), Wonders of the Universe (2011), Wonders of Life (2013) and Forces of Nature (2016). He has also appeared on shows such as, The Graham Norton Show (2011), The Jonathan Ross Show (2012) and on the episode 'The Power of Three' in Doctor Who (2012).
