Boudewijn Zenden is a retired professional footballer, now acting as assistant manager to Jong PSV. He was born 15th August 1976 in Maastricht, Netherlands.
Of his accomplishments throughout his career (1985-2011), he has been part of some success including; Barcelona (La Liga: 1998-99), Chelsea (FA Cup: 2001-02 runner up), Liverpool (Community Shield: 2006; UEFA Champions League: 2006-07 runner up; FA Cup: 2005-06) and with his national team, Netherlands (1998 World Cup fourth place; Euro 2000/2004 semifinalist).
During his three years at Chelsea (2001-2004), he made 43 appearances and scored a total of 4 goals. As mentioned above, he was a part of the team making it to the FA Cup final against Arsenal. He never truly made an impact at the club, due to many injuries he suffered at the time.
