Bobby Smith was a British football player. He was born on 22 February 1933 in Lingdale, England and sadly passed away 18 September 2010 in Enfield, England, aged 77.
He started his career by signing with Chelsea in 1950, scoring a total of 23 goals over his 74 appearances with the club. He spent the majority of his career with Tottenham Hotspur when he transferred to the club in 1955. He saw a lot of success with the club, including being part of the famous double winning team of 1960/1961 for the FA Cup, also retaining it in 1962 and also winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1963. In 1964, he left to play for Brighton and Hove Albion, during which he scored 19 goals in his 31 appearances.
He also played for the England international team (1961-64), one of his biggest accomplishments during his time there, was helping England in a huge 9-3 victory against Scotland in 1961 by scoring two goals.
