Barack Obama is an American politician. He was born on 4 August 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

He was the 44th President of the United States of America (2009-17) and was also the first African-American to hold the esteemed title. He was at the forefront of many debates throughout his time as President, which included health care, gun control and was a key part in the capture and death of Osama bin Laden. He was considered a great speaker, many Americans looked to him as a great leader during his presidency, he earned the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 and was named Person of the Year in both 2008 and 2012 in Time magazine.
