Anastacia is an American singer, songwriter and producer. She was born on 17 September 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

She is known for her soul and pop mix style and her powerful, soulful voice. She became widely known in 1999 when she released her debut single, I'm Outta Love, which hit number 6 in the UK charts, this was followed up by the release of her debut album, Not That Kind (2000), which hit number 2 in the UK charts. Since then she has released a further 5 albums and over 30 singles. She even had her own clothing line, has appeared as a judge for The X Factor (2012) and was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing (2016). Some of her best known hits in the UK include:-
