Alice Cooper is an American singer and songwriter. He was born, Vincent Damon Furnier, on 4 February 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Since a young age he has always been musically inclined and started his career path in 1964 through a local talent show with friends. They originally called themselves, The Spiders and after another change, they would eventually settle with the group name of Alice Cooper in 1968, which he would later legally change his name to when he became a solo artist in the early 70s. They released their first single Reflected (1969) and album Pretties for You (1969). Their first breakthrough single came the following year, I'm Eighteen (1970) and hit the US charts at number 21 and their first number 1 in the UK was School's Out (1972). As a solo artist, he has released 20 studio albums and his first solo single was Only Women Bleed (1975). His biggest hit single in the UK was Poison (1989) which reached number 2 and his most successful album is Trash (1989) which hit the same spot. He has even appeared in film and television, mainly as himself, which include Alice Cooper: The Nightmare (1975), That '70s Show (2001) and Monk (2006). Some of his other hit songs include:-
