Aidan Turner is an Irish actor. He was born on 19 June 1983 in Clondalkin, Dublin, Ireland.

He made his television debut as Bedoli in an episode of The Tudors (2007) and has appeared in many stage, film and television projects throughout his career. He is best known for his roles as John Mitchell in Being Human (2009-11), Kili in The Hobbit film trilogy (2012-14) and as Ross Poldark in Poldark (2015-). Some of his other acting work includes:-
