Adam Ant is a British musician. He was born, Stuart Leslie Goddard, on 3 November 1954 in Marylebone, London, England.
During the late 70s to early 80s, he was part of the group, Adam and the Ants (1977-82) and after their break-up went solo. With the band, their first album, Dirk Wears White Sox (1979) was released, entering the UK charts at number 16, and released a further 2 albums with the group, once he became solo, he released an additional 7 albums. With the group, their highlight singles were, Stand and Deliver (1981) and Prince Charming (1981), both entering the UK charts at number 1. As a solo artist, he released his debut single, Goody Two Shoes (1982), which entered the UK charts at number 1. Some of his other biggest hits in the UK include:-
