Yul Brynner was a Russian born film and stage actor. He was born on 11 July 1920 in Vladivostok, Far Eastern Republic, Russia and passed away on 10 October 1985 in New York City, New York, USA, aged 65.
He is best known for his portrayal of Rameses II in The Ten Commandments (1956) and as King Mongkut of Siam in the musical The King and I. He has also been a model, television director, photographer and wrote two books. Some of his other acting work includes:-
