William Shatner is a Canadian actor, author and director. He was born on 22 March 1931 in Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Monteal, Quebec, Canada.

He made his film debut, in a minor role, on The Butler's Night Off (1951) and has gone on to appear and star in many television and film projects throughout his career. He is best known for his roles as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek (1966-69) and the original Star Trek film series (1979-94), the titular character in T.J. Hooker (1982-86), Walter H. Bascom in TekWar (1994-96) and Denny Crane in Boston Legal (2004-08). Some of his other acting work includes:-
