Usain Bolt is a Jamaican sprinter. He was born on 21 August 1986 in Sherwood Content, Trelawny, Jamaica.

He is one of the most impressive and well-known runners in the world, the first man to hold the 100 metres and 200 metres world record, both a World and Olympic champion and has nine gold medals in events at the Olympic Games. He turned professional in 2004 competing in the CARIFTA Games in Bermuda and won a trophy for the Most Outstanding Athlete. His most impressive times have been 9.58 in the 100 metres, 14.35 in the 150 metres, 19.19 in the 200 metres, 30.97 in the 300 metres, 45.28 in the 400 metres and 36.84 in the 4x100 metres relay. He has won a number of competitions throughout his career, including, the Olympic Games, World Championships and Commonwealth Games. He is also known for appearing in the advertisement campaigns for Virgin Media alongside the founder, Richard Branson.
