Sylvester Stallone is an American actor and film director. He was born on 6 July 1946 in New York City, USA.

He made his film debut, in a minor role, on Downhill Racer (1969) and has gone on to appear and star in many film projects throughout his career. He is best for his roles as Rocky Balboa in the Rocky film series (1976/1979/1982/1985/1990/2006) and reprised this role for Creed (2015) and Creed II (2018), Rambo in the titular film series (1982/1985/1988/2008) and Barney Ross in The Expendables film trilogy (2010/2012/2014). He has also worked as a film director, and has worked on a number of films, including the Rocky film series (excluding the first). Some of his other acting work includes:-
