Stiliyan Petrov is a former Bulgarian football player. He was born on 5 July 1979 in Montana, Bulgaria.

He spent the majority of his career with Scottish Premiership team, Celtic (1999-2006) making 228 appearances, scoring 55 goals and being a part of the Scottish Premier League, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup wins in various seasons. He has also played for Aston Villa and the Bulgaria national team.

• Celtic Player of the Year (2005)

• Aston Villa Player of the Year (2009 / 2012)

• Inducted into the Aston Villa Hall of Fame (2013)
